2/8/24 - I went to Desert Industries and helped sort out clothes and domestic things sorting out for people n need, so they can find what they're looking for, so they can live their life to their fullest, and have cherishable moments for life. it was really hard, and my experience, made me realize that though I am never alone, even if I feel like I am alone, I remember the Savior doing everything himself without a hand to be offered during his service, to help him during his acts of service. I don't think I could do a thing like that on my own, but with our promised Savior, the Holy Ghost, and the still small voice, I'm sure I can accomplish my mission with a heart full of gratitude.
2/10/24 - I went to Costa Vida for my dad's birthday. It was so yummy! I'm so lucky to have my dad as my dad. I'm not sure what I would do without my wonderful father. To end his birthday, I went to a ice cream social with mom and dad held by our ward. The feast table spread of all the different icecream, was incredibly delicious with toppers for ice cream, and the cookies and brownies. It was a good way to spend the day.
- My experience today felt so special because it was a day to honor my father on the day he was born, and I am so lucky he was born to be my dad. He too is lucky to have me a a daughter.
2/11/24 - I attended my ward conference, went to a fellow missionaries homecoming, and went to the district zone meeting.
- My experience today was pretty much hard for me, but it was nice to hear a mission experience from a missionary that finished off their mission yesterday. I was moved because they worked so hard, and even though it was hard for them, they still made that effort to serve the Lord. Then a former missionary made a good point during the district meeting, about making work fun, the making non work less fun, and that really stood out to me.
2/11/24 - I attended my nightly devotional and felt the topics of the things discussed well and really made a influence on me how we can have patience towards others and to all those I tend to see during my service sites when I serve there.
- I felt the spiritual experiences today as I listened to wonderful missionaries share some pretty important points and ways on how we can always stay positive and patient to others around me. What a wonderful night this has been to focus on what is important as a missionary of the Lord.
2/13/24 - I helped serve at the Bishop's Storehouse in so many ways. I helped bag produce like apples, helped put a new bag in a garbage can, help with coolers, clean carts, bag dish soap and having them boxed, and did a just serve project for a good 15 minutes.
- My experience today felt like I was making a difference for all that I do in the Bishop's Storehouse, and every effort made, means a lot to someone else. I'm glad that I get to serve there and serve amongst other missionaries just like me who has the same service site.
- I attended my nightly institute class, and learned about all things happening if it weren't for Joseph Smith, there wouldn't be a restored Gospel and wouldn't be here, there would be no Book of Mormon, the Brass plates wouldn't have been translated without Joseph Smith. We wouldn't even have temples on earth without Joseph Smith. My experience today attending my nightly Institute class helped me to be grateful for everything that we have been given, because of Joseph Smith.
