5th Week as a Missionary

12/21/23 - I went to the Desert Industries thrift store and helped sorting clothes and domesticated things like blankets, heavy blankets, electric blankets, even bedsheets.  Then I watched the movie Elf with other missionaries in one missionaries backyard.

- My experience today showed me that the best way to lift Christmas spirits is to sing it out loud for all to hear.  Then others may join along.too if they wanted.  We all have our own way of showing the spirit and we must all share it with others.

12/22/23 - I did some basic training of the simple dos and don'ts while on my mission, so I can stay safe during my mission.

- My experience today helped me to realize that even if it's not fun to learn, I had to learn it to be safe, and I like to be safe during my mission.

12/24/23 - I went to church and enjoyed Christmas Eve with my family and felt the spirit so strong listening to the music.  I absolutely love Christmas and there's a reason why I start to tear up.  It's the best time for me to think about the Savior so much.  I thought about the Savior and the future He had growing up to be the person He was meant to be.

- My experience that day was the most heartfelt that I felt all year, cause it's one of my favorite holidays to spend with my family. ❤️

12/26/23 - I did some missionary training because I didn't trust myself to serve at the Bishop's Storehouse due to me being sick over the Christmas holiday.

- My experience that I went through being sick over the Christmas holiday to attend the Bishop's Storehouse has lead me to realize that I am so caring for every missionary out there, and I certainly don't want to share the same sickness with them.

4th Week as a Missionary

12/14/2023 - I served at the Desert Industries and saw the Christmas lights at the temple.

- My experience today help me to realize that the work you do may not always be fun, but in the end, it's actually pretty rewarding.  Maybe even bless and inspire others to do the same. ❤️

12/15-23 - I went to the Bishop's Storehouse party and the Marana Pumpkin Patch Christmas lights to see some beautiful Christmas lights and do fun things there like see Santa, take photos by a tree and such.  We even took a train ride to some animated ones.  It was great to head ujp to Tuscon with my family.

 - My experience today help me to realize and see that there's always something exciting at the service site that sometimes you even recognize it.  Same goes with traveling with my family sometimes.  I sometimes fail to see exciting things happening. ❤️

12-19-23 - I helped at the Bishop Storehouse by bagging lots of produce like carrots, potatoes, even apples.  Then attended the district meeting after.  Then enjoyed lunch.  We ended up having to bag more produce.  Carrots and potatoes were before apples.  Then helped bag toilet paper into bags and got them into boxes and call it a day.

- My experience was so rewarding considering all the goodies that I have received as I was serving in the Bishop's Storehouse.  I love getting holiday treats that makes me think of the Savior and all that He has done for me.  What a amazing symbolism that we have of that.

3rd Week as a Missionarey

12/7/23 - I went to Desert Industries and sorted clothes.  Then we took a lunch break.  Then it's back to sorting clothes again.  Then I helped out my parents with Activity Days.  I decided to make ornaments, discuss the nativity, and enjoyed a nice cup of hot chocolate.  Then I went to Relief Society Christmas activity.  I enjoyed a nice dinner, enjoyed more hot chocolate, and enjoyed delicious cake listening to the program.  I even met some missionaries.

- My experience today made me realize that was going to all these place without complaints just like Jesus Christ went His way to help every person that He saw along the way.  Just remembering that helps me to realize that I can always strive to help out and be a cheerful giver wherever I am, and wherever I go.  It always makes me feel close to the Savior.  And I quote: "Life is tough, so am I."  I love that quote from the shirt I got to help me always remember that as I go and serve just like the Lord, ❤️

12/10/23 - I went to a homecoming of a returned missionary.  His name was James Anderson.  His sister I just found is going to be married to my Ryan Turley.

- My experience today was so sweet hearing from James Anderson's homecoming message today, cause it gave me an insight on ways to make my mission more meaningful.

12/12/23 - I had the opportunity to go to the zone conference with the missionaries and feel the spirit abiding strong as I watched a video on the nativity and the skit on the nativity.  I love Christmas so much, and all that it means to me.  May we all remember what the Lord has done for all of us this Christmas season, and throughout our lifetime.❤️

- My experience today was so sweet as I witnessed the scene taking place of Jesus Christ being born.  I really did feel the spirit there participating in the zone conference like so strong that it made me so emotional that I started crying.  I absolutely Love the Christmas season, and how much joy that it brings to me. ❤️ I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

2nd Week as a Missionary

11/30/23 - I went to Desert Industries and sorted out clothes making sure that good clothes were separated from the bad ones that had stains or treats in them.  Then we had lunch.  Then we did the same thing again with the domestic stuff too such as pillows, pillow cases, blankets, heavy blankets, towels, and even bed sheets.

My experience was amazing, cause it gave me a feeling to know that all the hard work was worth it to make sure everyone has a piece of clothing that they like or in a need of replacement.  Because we all deserve something that makes us all feel good about ourself, whether big or small.

12/1/23 - I went with my mom to Walmart to pick out a gift that I really like.

My experience is getting the gift I like is so fun since it matches my artistic lifestyle, coloring.  I really like to color so I bring along something to color.

12/2/23 - I went to a missionary Christmas party where we had a yummy dinner that's Hawaiian Haystacks.  Then we had our gift exchange we pick out someone's gift and hear why it's that person's favorite gift.  Then we had a picture taken with all the missionaries and had a service project where we were wrapping gifts and stuffing stockings for certain families.

My experience during the party is learning about missionaries favorite things, and feeling good getting gifts to other families representing the reason of Christmas is giving to others remembering why it's so special to us.

12/3/23 - I went to church ten to a mission district meeting.  Then I listen to the First Christmas Devotional.

My experience today is just I needed to feel the Christmas spirit going to these places and to realize why we have Christmas and the reason why to celebrate i the way we do.  To remember not just the Lord's birth, but also his Atonement, and everything He has done for us, and everything he went through to save us all.  Without the reason to celebrate Easter, there wouldn't be any reason to celebrate Christmas at all.

12/5/23 - I helped out at the Bishop's Storehouse with bagging produce, like bell peppers, carrots, and potatoes.  Then had a meeting with the missionaries.  Then soon after we took a break from lunch.  Then helped out with the rest of the potatoes.  Then helped clean windows in the bathrooms, wipe tables clean and stack and put away chairs.  Then I helped bag toilet paper and get them stacked into boxes.  Then made a card for a truck driver thanking them for all they done.

My experience today was truely wonderful cause it was another day to be more like the Savior like how He helped other people just like us.  What a wonderful day it was to be more like my Redeemer.  It reminded me of how many people that He fed during His time on the earth.  ❤️❤️❤️
